Slag Room Centre d'Art Nei Liicht, Dudelange, Luxembourg, 2018. Slag Room is an homage to Walter de Maria Earth Room (1977). A room is filled with metallic slag, a by-product of steel making. The earth from Walter de Maria installation is replaced with this new material, a man made substance replacing and polluting our earth and, symbol of capitalistic exploitation.
