Social Cores is a sculptural representation of migration data from Luxembourg, from the end of the 19th century untill 2018. The exploitation of natural resources is often accompanied by several migration waves that make this exploitation possible. Each color represnts a different ethnic group that in the last century migrated to Luxembourg to work in the steel industry. From Italian, to Germans, Polish, Germans and most recently Portuguese, all these different groups constitute the contemporary multicultural society of Luxembourg.
